Pressure Gauges
Pressure gauges are your primary window into what is happening inside the homogenizer during operation. Without accurate gauges, operators are essentially running blind. Calibrate at least annually. Safety Valves (Pressure Relief Valves)
The safety valve is arguably the most important accessory on the homogenizer. It protects the pump block, piping, and downstream equipment from dangerous overpressure. Safety valves must never be adjusted beyond their rated setting, blocked off, or removed. Test annually and recertify according to local pressure equipment regulations.
Pulsation Dampeners
Homogenizers are positive-displacement reciprocating pumps that produce a pulsating flow. Pulsation dampeners absorb pressure spikes and deliver smoother flow. Gas-charged membrane dampeners are most common in food and dairy applications. Check gas charge monthly.
Aseptic Devices
In UHT dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications, aseptic devices use steam barriers to prevent recontamination of product after heat treatment. Live steam at approximately 2–3 bar maintains temperature above 120°C in the barrier zone.
CIP Connections and Fittings
Proper CIP connections ensure cleaning solutions reach all product-contact surfaces. Key accessories include CIP supply and return connections, CIP caps, drain valves, and sample valves. We supply a full range of hygienic fittings compatible with all major homogenizer machines.
Maintenance Toolkits
Homogenizers require specific tools: valve seat extraction tools, plunger removal fixtures, torque wrenches, feeler gauges and micrometers, and seal installation tools. We supply OEM-specification toolkits for all major brands.
